One day it’s 30 degrees and snowing, the next day it’s sunny and 65. With such inconsistent weather, it can be tempting to call it quits on running outside. I have good news for you – you don’t have to step on that treadmill quite yet. Knowing what to wear in different temperatures will make it possible to run outside all year round. Here is a general guide for what I would recommend wearing outside to run in various temperatures. Everyone is different, so find what works best for you so that you can go the extra mile!
30º and below
40ºs
50ºs
60ºs
70ºs
80ºs – don’t forget to stay hydrated!
In the case of extremes, I would advise not running outside. If it’s extremely cold and windy, head to the gym or take a day off! For those hot and humid days in the summer, try cross training with swimming instead.

Thank you Hilary Moore for being a good sport and an even better model. How great is she??!
