I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner already! Both mine and Mo’s families are flying out for the holiday, and I can’t wait to see them! I’ve been keeping busy with work, planning their visit, and trying to figure out how in the world to host a Thanksgiving dinner. I’ve probably called my mom more times this past week than the past 4 months we’ve been out here! That might be a slight exaggeration, but still… I’m not sure how she’s able to get any work done with all my interruptions!
We have been pretty lucky so far with our weather out here (knock on wood). It snowed a little bit one night, but other than that, I think the Midwest has gotten hit a lot harder than us so far. It was 60º yesterday and I will take that over snow any day.
Even though work and Thanksgiving planning has been keeping us busy, we always find a way to make some room for fun! Since my post about our New England road trip, we hosted a Halloween party, attended many Dean College women’s basketball games that Mo has been helping coach, celebrated friends’ birthdays, traveled to New York for a Steelers Game and done lots of crafts to decorate for the holidays!
