It’s already March, there’s only 3 girls left on The Bachelor and can someone please tell me where the time is going?? There’s nothing like a wake up call to live in the present when you look back on the last 2 months- well, the last 8 months really- and wonder where the time went.
These past two months I’ve been learning what it means to actually live life, instead of just watching it pass by. We are so accustomed to filling our schedules to the brim and just going from one thing to the next. I encourage you to look at your schedules, determine your priorities, and take at least one thing out. The catch: don’t fill something else in its place.
Here’s 5 things that have inspired me this week.
The importance of healthy eating. Research shows being toned and fit is 70% nutrition and 30% exercise. Exercise is important, but you’ll never reach your goals with a bad diet. Substituting Greek Yogurt for sour cream is just one example of a healthy baking substitute. Click on the link for more healthy substitutions!
Space to write down thoughts/ideas. When I say space, I mean SPACE. These days it seems like I’m going through a notebook a week. Think big! Try this DIY notebook board to record your thoughts and ideas, or paint a wall in your office with chalkboard paint.
An encouraging verse. We like to feel like we have it all together. We don’t. But do you know what? It’s ok, because God does.
A touch of gold. These DIY gold-splattered balloons would make a gorgeous addition to a bridal shower, bachelorette party, or baby gender reveal. A cute running buddy. There’s nothing more motivating than that!
What inspired you this week? And more importantly, who do you think is going to win The Bach??
Yes I love substituting greek yogurt for sour cream! I also love your other tips 🙂

Right?! It’s the best! I use it as sour cream, mix honey and cinnamon in it for a snack, and even freeze it in my dogs Kong!
